The Porta do Vale is residential development, consisting of 22 houses, with more than 20,000m2 of land area, right at the entrance of this small traditional north Portugal like, city. The need came from the increasing demand for houses with exterior spaces, and deep contact with nature, due to the pandemic and the constraints it has caused in population living in apartments in city centers like Oporto. The Concept? Inserting houses in the landscape like they have always been there, giving them sun exposure, fresh air and the view towards the landscape around.
