Zibi is a major restoration and conversion project of two industrial buildings into office spaces, located in one of the most sustainable neighbourhoods in Canada, along the Ottawa River, Algonquin territory. The 41,000 sq.ft. project is part of the Zibi net-zero carbon community masterplan (34 acres), where once was the industrial cradle of North American wood processing. The revamped buildings connected by a new glazed walkway now offers a mixed commercial program and an atrium, revealing the relics of an industrial past. Ultimately, the buildings maintained their initial appearance.
