Mirror Mountain is located within a residential area of Zhubei City, Taiwan. As the generator of the spatial structure, the staircase meanders between different spaces and weaves between levels in the residential unit, utilizing the flexible relationship between the stair and privacy/publicity of spaces, allowing each stair/space encounter to shift in between closeness, openness, or extensiveness, forming new relationships with different spatial environments. Life within the house is tightly connected to the staircase, expanding and accumulating everyday experiences.
