Grow your School is a project made to improve the conditions of an existing school in in the Unión Mexicana community in Chiapas, Mexico. The whole renovation project was made in collaboration with members of the community, who also built a large part of it, using bamboo as a structural material, which we chose because it is resistant, beautiful, easy to work with, it regenerates quickly and captures CO2, making it a sustainable material. This project strives to boost the children’s potential by generating optimal indoor and outdoor spaces for learning using sustainable materials.
