Designed to fit the site’s landscape and blend with the local architectural vernacular, three structures (main house, guest house and recreational barn) on a 75 acre lot in Columbia County, New York, create an expansive living spaces within each of the structures and contain large outdoor meadows between them. The compound uses geothermal energy for heating and cooling and is powered by a large south facing PV array on the barn, greatly reducing the need for non-renewable energy.
