●Located on a hillside in northern Taiwan. ●The private family cemetery sits on a rectangular site, facing towards the mountain which meets the sea. ●Plan positioned diagonally to align the axis with the peak. ●Clearing divided into two areas for eco-burial use in the future. ●The opening on the wall frames the tombs of client′s ancestors, which is 4 km away. ●Asymmetric cantilever roof of the semi-outdoor hallway points towards the sea. ●In the cylindrical space sits the altar, with the belt-shaped tomb chamber siting right behind it. ●The altar faces west and welcomes every sunset.
