Waxwing Residence is a six bedroom, eight bathroom 4200 sq.ft family home on a forested lot within Toronto's lush ravine system. The solid front facade with a tucked away entryway afforded the clients the privacy they desired; while the rear, stepping down to follow the properties natural topography boast 14 foot ceilings, opens up almost entirely with glazing, inviting a spectacular forested backdrop to play into the interiors. The contemporary family home, which is approximately 70% glazed, called for warmth from within, achieved through the material palette and furnishings selected.
