The name translates to “Grandma’s House”, for this residence is a pivoting point for a multi-generational close knitted family. Wide, double-height spaces accentuate the visual connection with the lake in Valle de Bravo. The white handcrafted brick covered walls bear gabled roofs, and Austrian-engineered wood overlays the floors, walls, and ceilings. The wooden aesthetic creates the same language throughout the space and the diffused light helps accentuate the warm tones, creating a cozy and inviting ambience. The resulting composition gives the impression of a hearth-like space.
