The project is not only an interesting historical building, but also an active cultural and commercial center. With the balance between protection and revitalization, the design approach overlaid the existing and new elements, to create an interesting tension between historical and current elements. The design retains the traces of the past, superimpose the imprint of the current activities and interventions, so that the result of the current transformation can be viewed as a moment in history, reflecting the current society and its values.
