The visionary transformation of Buildings 40-41 into a world class, resilient workplace environment ready to accommodate post COVID-19. PLACE fluidly approached the courtyard design by testing and incorporating diverse programs, informing the built form, and creating a space uniquely tailored for socially distanced collaboration. Three ‘Pods’ offer playful pastimes among a range of flexible seating to accommodate conversations, solo work, and physical distancing. A lure to the outdoors, a monumental glass canopy floats amongst a green cloud of mature Katsura and Japanese Maple Trees.
