The Inquilinatos are a historical, collective, temporary and informal form of living in Bogotá, Colombia. Sometimes, they are the only available housing option for the most vulnerable populations, informal workers and immigrants. However, they are overcrowded; presenting habitability and sanitation problems. Based on the social context and the actual sanitation crisis, this project proposes a co-living model that establishes the individual as a priority. Composed by flexible micro-units that can be grouped and ungrouped temporarily and guarantee adequate living conditions for each human being.
