EcoSteel provided the structural engineering and prefab/ architectural systems to house individuals and families that are homeless. There are three 6,800 SF prefabricated homeless shelters that leverage the speed and costs benefits of warehouse-style construction combined with attractive Architectural Design. Kensington Campus is a fourteen-acre paradigm shift in ending the lack of a permanent solution to homelessness. This development proves what true public-private partnerships can accomplish by fast-tracking a solution that came to fruition in 15 months, instead of the typical eight years.
