The research "Más allá del huerto: la biofilia aplicada al diseño arquitectónico de escuelas" proposes the use of biophilia and biophilic design concepts, as tools to intervene from the physical-spatial aspects that affect children's learning. Biophilic design is integrated at all scales, from landscape design at the green square to classrooms that open to courtyards. The applied sustainable architecture of the biophilic design model seeks to highlight the importance that design decisions possess when generating a positive impact by contributing to both the students and the community.
