The 25-storey Odea tower highlights the presence of the Cree Nation in Montreal through a collaborative project that inclusively integrates and highlights their values and culture into its design and landscape through purposeful community engagement, setting a new precedent for Indigenous architectural identities in major Canadian cities. Carrying forth the Cree Nation’s principle of preserving the land, Odea incorporates strategies that promote environmental protection, carbon emission reduction, and user health and well-being throughout its mix of office, commercial and residential spaces.
