A modular design allows for a simple mixed structure cladded with repurposed and locally sourced materials, so both volumes virtually disappear into the landscape. Gardens of endemic species, heavily affected by the overpopulation, provide privacy and thermal insulation. Rainwater collecting and treatment systems, energy conservation measures and responsible waste disposal are all considered and covered. The south facing orientation provides amazing lake views, natural light and ventilation in every space, rendering the house not only environmentally conscious, but comfortable and discrete.
