The project located in Paris 14th arrondissement, is a refurbishment and a raising of a narrow services building, into a 37-unit residence, being the first building managed by the helping homeless organization in Paris. In order to minimize the impact on the structure and surface, we chose to carry out a heavy refurbishment of the building, and an addition of three storeys, thanks to a new brick façade allowing for exterior insulation, new larger and more regular windows, a new rhythm of the façade, and a more contemporary appearance while recalling the architectural codes of the district.
