Yong-An Fishing Harbor is the first and only fish port located in a Taiwanese Hakka village. Considering its cultural and historical importance, this project aims at creating a new experiential and educational park of the Hakka fishing culture, in order to transform the Yong-An Fishing Harbor into a world-class tourist attraction. Inspired by the local Hakka culture, the design is integrated with concepts of different fishing cultures such as blowing conch and stone weirs.
