ClientBrooklyn Public Library (BPL)

This library is a community hub for environmental awareness, activism and education – the result of active engagement between BPL and the community. It doubles the previous building in size, providing enlarged indoor and outdoor space for environmental exploration and everyday library use. Programming includes reading rooms and collections for children, teens and adults; space for large community events; and exterior landscaped space for teaching and learning. Exceeding LEED Gold certification, the library is a demonstration of sustainable design and a learning tool for the community.
