Central point of the complex, our project represents a “bijou” building on which the views of the other units of Macrolot B5 converge. Because of this special position, our intervention must develop a uniform facade while avoiding an overbearing, monotonous effect. The initial volume is rectangular and slightly twisted on some levels to break up the effect of mass and generate cantilevers that express a certain monumentality. Borrowed from the classical vocabulary, the arches are a contemporary reinterpretation of the rhythm of the main facades of the old Renault factory, very present in the French collective imagination. They make it possible to create a second skin of loggias, which preserves the first skin of the units from directly facing the opposite building.
