Headquarters Brand Loyalty

The challenge in this project was to transform a dull, outdated office block to an inspiring and energizing meeting place, you wish you would never have to leave! For our client we designed a professional but homely feel, combined with transparent open areas. Employees, although allowed to work at home, should prefer to be in the office. To create this special look-and-feel we designed most of the furniture ourselves. Being able to do so gave us the opportunity to refine the overall design and atmosphere into the smallest details. During the transition the whole building was stripped and big atria were made to get light into the heart of the building. In the main atrium a new sculptural spiral staircase is the eyecatcher. The repetitive gravel concrete structural cores of the building are cladded with elegant dark, grooved wood, thin enough to steam and bend around the round corners of the cores. The ground floor is designed after a hotel lobby, open and welcoming, with a restaurant designed like the restaurants you find in the city centre. Around the open kitchen you can eat and meet in several different areas. Different in seating type and atmosphere, everyone can find their favourite spot.
