In tango, the music is counted in 2/4 but played using four 8th notes. The rhythmic beats are like splitting cells that grow from one to two, two to four and so on until life is formed. This was the inspiration behind our concept for the design of the medical center for reproductive health. From the entrance of the stair lobby, small circles glow here and there like the beginning of life before spreading across the space along a joyful melodic curve as they lead us into the center. Cold and warm colors of blue and yellow mingle as though a man and a woman are dancing tango. To foster a cheerful and exciting mood, the mirror ceiling continuously reflect the changing forms below that resemble splitting cells as well as splendid dance moves. The waiting room and laboratory areas flank the elevator area at the entrance. The services of the center are connected in a cyclic flow, like a dance arena where tango never ends, celebrating life.
