A 130 sqm Allude concept store, in the centre of Kitzbühel Austria, demonstrates a light and airy shop concept. Light, Colour and Furniture subtly and perfectly complement one another. A ceiling’s integrated chain-mesh light installation gives the new space a fantastical whimsical take of a knitting theme. As light and airy as cashmere. The unique installation was developed by the architects with the Spanish manufacturer KriskDecor. This shows how architecture integrates knitting and stitching themes to create a tightly intertwined image – seemingly, simply out of pure passion for beauty. With the new store design, the architects speak to modern lifestyles and the fascination with materials like cashmere. Besides the chainmesh light installation, the architecture radiates the esthetic of purity and ease. Like the cosmos, all is tightly interdependent. And its light deflections and reflection concurrently elevate it to a total work of art. Hundreds of lights in the ceiling interact spiritedly with the polished floor. The mirrored shelf at the staircase as well as all diverse, mirrored wall surfaces dissolve room boundaries. The clean lines of the cherry wood lounge furniture designed by the architects infuse warm accents to the fluid, connected spaces, that invite guests to linger.
