The MT Apartment is lived as a showroom that although it looks polished and harmonious, it does not cease to surprise with small details that reveal an imbricated architectural game, as it is the careful design of lighting that grants architectural qualities to the whole space or, the smart spatial divisions through the furniture avoiding the use of walls. The golden veins of the marble floor play harmoniously with the warm wooden barrisol on the ceiling that houses a careful set of direct and indirect lighting. The solemn elegance and symmetry of the hallway reveals the mystery of what appears to be that the rest of the public area space is about to open as a sumptuous design exercise. As you walk down the hall towards the next spatial threshold, two sculptural black granite panels act as a screen to unlock the public areas of the house: the living room, the dining room, the cava, and a more private office space. The dimensions of the public space are treated with detail, play and sharpness. Location: Mexico City Area: 515 m2 Year: 2016
