K11 Art Mall, Guangzhou

Gold is the main color palette of K11 Art Mall as well as the predominant color of K11’s logo. Atrium at B1 floor, walls and ceilings are painted in softly golden hues, cultivating a luxury yet artistic atmosphere and deepening visitors’ knowledge of K11. Urban farming at K11 Art Mall is a groundbreaking project. Located in the middle of the mall, the farm uses soli-free cultivation methods, automatic irrigation system and LED lighting supplements natural light that comes in through windows, creating a growth-friendly environment and awakening visitors to bear their thoughts on nature and to be part of nature at the same time. Various tree and leave decorations are taken into account in the interior of K11 project so as to represent Banyan, the symbol of Lingnan Culture. The Banyan tree is upstanding and strong, occupying an important position in Canton. Designed with a banyan concept, K11 creates a perfect integration of local culture and art, and therefore visitors will be indulged in an urban oasis and are inspired to consider the intimate relationship between human and nature.
