The space is a working studio and private guest house. The weaver business is the profession of our client who has special appreciation judgment in fabric art that has become the motivation for the designer to make this place wonderful by means of a series of design skills, including customized colorful textiles, remodeled furniture and family reunion area. For the client spending most of time staying abroad, the designer brings out invigorating colors by applying rough texture of concrete and modest lines in this residence. The colors of painting in this residence are mostly in grey, French blue and red, and vermilion so that the client’s valuable collection, the so-called Color-field painting, has become the ingenious idea of design in this residence. The principles of interior design are based on emotional connections of client’s family. The beauty of the dining table, left from client’s grandmother, has now become a part of elaborate decorations in this residence. The Turkish carpets and patchworks, in the living room and bedroom, attract attentions as well.
