This 3,300 square foot corner penthouse suite is located on the 37-floor of the City Center VEER Tower with panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and rugged mountains beyond. The owner a single male entrepreneur worked with our firm to focus on a design that would reflect his personality and values. He named the project EDIFICEe (Engaging-Distintive- Innovative-Fearless-Intimate-Contemporary- Eclectic Elegance) These became the guiding principles for the project. One other item that was very important to the owner was that the penthouse would also project a sense of whimsy. This was accomplished in multiple areas but initially greets you at the front door where the entry door is really a fake facade and the concrete wall next to the entry door opens creating an element of surprise as the owner greets you. One other item that was really important to the owner was that the penthouse would have a great sense of transparency and would be visually transparent from one corner of the unit to the other but also have the ability to provide levels of security when desired. These were accomplished with butt glazed glass dividers, hidden walls and layers sheers and curtains.
