Due to the lack of residential social welfare infrastructure in Taiwan, we try to approach to the problem by creating a multi-functional social housing, which includes school and other functional spaces. We take “Open Architecture” as our main design strategy, by using “Frame” and “Infill” as the elements to create 3 types of rooms for different families. Each family has different routine of daily life, so the community we create plays an important role in the habitants’ lives. The community can also provide various job opportunities, making it a self-sufficient community.
