Vinpearl Project is a pure bamboo structure using up to 42,000 bamboo culms. The structural system of Vinpearl Phu Quoc combines Arches, Domes, and Grid systems, which accumulates our knowledge in using bamboo as structural forms. The project is energy efficient and uses only natural, locally sourced sustainable material. No artificial AC is used. On the top, a light well is designe to let natural lighting in while artificial lighting is minimized to only be used during nighttime. Even though the structure is complex with dense layers of intertwining systems, the space remains open throughout.
