Cura Ginza is a joint office-shopping complex located in close proximity to Kabukiza, the mecca of Kabuki, a famous form of traditional Japanese entertainment. The building’s exterior combines the concepts of “Aqueducts” and “Willows” as they represent Ginza’s traditional scenery. Ginza has a long history and a rich culture, and this design style ensures that the building blends in with its surroundings. “Aqueducts” are represented by aluminum louvers that have been twisted to symbolize flowing water while stainless steel in the entrance has been laser cut to mimic the movement of leaves.
