The project is located in the center of Bat Trang village, a traditional pottery village. Client is a pottery maker, which allows VTN to design the entire facade of customized, hand-make, and locally sourced pottery bricks. Combined with the vertical greenery, and double skin façade as buffering filtering zone, the house is able to solve environmental issues such as urban noise pollution and the high pollution of Hanoi city. By incorporating energy efficiency, use of renewable materials, reused rainwater and solar power, the project helps mitigate the negative impacts of urbanization.
