Located within a former US Postal Service Office, Project Potomac celebrates the building’s legacy and takes inspiration from the historic elements, while reinventing the workplace to meet the needs of one of the world’s largest tech firms. The challenge was to create personable neighborhoods within the 800,000 sq ft of office and dining spaces. This was achieved through the careful scaling of each neighborhood area, the integration of art and biophilic design, and the balancing of efficiently planned workspaces with wellness-focused restoration and collaboration areas dispersed throughout.
