This project is a small oasis within a large property on the floor of the Napa Valley. The five small structures, which house a massage area, steam room, sauna and changing area, are set quietly within the vineyard landscape, connected by a series of pathways and covered terraces. Two plunge pools align with interior views and act as central organizing elements. Simply clad in vertical siding stained to match the mud from an adjacent stream, the buildings are surrounded by walls tall enough to provide privacy, yet low enough to provide a sense of connection to the surrounding vineyards.
