The architecture firm transformed four floors of a former industrial repair and ship manufacturing facility built in 1857 into contemporary and collaborative office spaces. The interiors are characterized by idiosyncratic spaces unusual in a typical office, and massive steel columns that span the space. The renovation embraces these unique elements as opportunities to imbue the office with a sense of the building's heritage, and finds creative design solutions to incorporate them into a high-performing contemporary office.
