YSP studied brand value, including technology innovation, circular economy, wellness and wellbeing. Despite the comprehensive lab requirements, employees need a “portal” that allows for an easy transition between focus and high collaboration zones. We split the floor into two types of programmatic spaces: The portal and the zones. We studied connection strategies for both types of programmatic spaces to provide a diverse working environment. We designed the space as connections of open and sheltered area, along with active and quiet space, to create a responsive environment for the employees.
