Jiaxing, with a history of nearly 1800 years and as the geographical center in the south of the Yangtze River, has a classic water pattern where the nine rivers converge. The Central Cultural Axis project is a typical urban organic renewal practice, breaking the development barrier of cultural heritage, and adapting the most basic cultural genes of the water town to coordinate with modern development, Stimulating urban vitality through ecologically friendly means. A central axis of 2.6km was created for the slow enjoyment of diverse experiences that combines historical and innovation.
