The completion of Bokšto Skveras has transformed a disused 15th/16th Century UNESCO heritage site into a bold mixed-use quarter of Vilnius. The project sought to bring a wide programme of uses, including workspace, cultural and leisure activities, health, and wellbeing facilities – within a beautiful setting of landscaped gardens. The resultant collection of urban artefacts has formed a wonderful base to add a minimal series of contemporary additions, that provide further layers of serviceability, programme and delight to the heritage spaces and structures.
