The project is about the Spirituality of the Land at Maasai area. The place is remote. Distance and time are always disconnected. One can imagine that the land and sky are defined just by the horizon. A volcanic area was discovered, a lava flow called ‘Shetani’ which means ‘devil’ in Kiswahili. Locals used to believe that it was the arrival of the devils to the earth. They saw it as the devils’ punishment to them. There grown nothing and has no habitats. The remoteness of the land inspired the project – Tempus. It is an Art Therapy Museum, healing people and the land.
