Frumo is a sustainable and self-healing material made from food waste and natural resin that can be used for flooring and furniture. By adding Frumo granules and applying heat, any damage to its surface can be repaired seamlessly. Fumo is not only compostable but also a zero-waste product. Any waste can be shredded and made into a new panel again. This way, the furniture challenges of short-living non-repairable materials like plastic-coated wood-based panels and the vast consumption of wood can be addressed together. It helps to create less waste and to secure our environment.
