Integrating into the environment in a humble form, the building has raised corners so that visitors can have an unhindered view of the mountain foot. Echoing Beihang University, the curtain wall adopts the red ganged bricks, through which the light penetrates from the hollows to embellish the interior space. The core of the interior space is a large, oblique, semi-enclosed stepped reading area where the sunlight streaming in from the second floor is a guide for visitors. Stepped along the stairs on both sides, the French windows on the second floor achieve a panoramic view of the hillside.
