The Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec organized a competition to dream up a pavilion dedicated to the work of Jean Paul Riopelle. Our proposal is in accordance with the ardor and audacity of this immense artist. Present in some of his paintings, Beziers curves are the inspiration for the volumetry of the building. The envelope is light and diffuse like a large boat sail undulating on the rive. The discovery of the artist's works is done in a series of curved museum spaces, intimately related to the river and the park. The climax being the room dedicated to L’Hommage à Rosa Luxemburg.
