Located at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level and ensconced amidst venerable mango trees, Casa Caoba offers a dual experience: a tranquil escape for its inhabitants and an opportunity to engage with the vibrant ecosystem of the surrounding tropical landscape. The house ingeniously adapts to the sloppy terrain, resting upon a sturdy stone foundation. It features five contiguous walls that serve as the framework for four distinct living spaces. These walls also produce picture frames, affording captivating vistas of the sprawling Andes landscape and facilitating natural cross-ventilation.
