Inspired by Italian family life, The Light House features a neutral palette layered with classicism. However modernity is weaved in, as seen in the open-plan entertaining area. Moving through the home is a sensory journey. On arrival the owners are embraced by creamy Venetian plaster curves in a double-height space, presided over by a cloud chandelier. After crossing the checkerboard marble floor they're met by symmetrical marble portals to the formal dining space and moody cigar room. Finally they come into the light of the relaxed, open-plan kitchen, living and dining area.
