Bringing nature back to the city although not a new idea it is a growing imperative for cities like Nicosia failing to make greenery a priority in its urban planning. A house that helps greening the city, promoting shared spaces and social dialogue between its residents and neighbours is what inspired the design. The concept emphasises the potential for private urban gardens and the microclimate they create to improve living conditions within cities. In contrast with other houses built to isolate our proposal forms a physical continuation of the existing public green area.
