The project aimed at developing a floating city to overcome the issue of rising sea levels due to climate change and the scarcity of urban space for construction development. The development of such a settlement is done in various steps to assure its economic feasibility and independence from the mainland. It is able to produce energy, water, and food, as well as manage the disposal of its waste and cover the needs of its inhabitants. The urban definition has been analyzed to provide social and visual characterizations, trying to preserve the cultural traits of the lifestyle on the mainland.
