On the outskirts of Berlin, Westkreuz Station is a major interchange of seven different S-Bahn Berlin GmbH lines and straddles four different city districts, yet is one of the most sparsely populated areas of the city so is frequently deserted; unless there is an exhibition on at the nearby Messe Berlin.
