House ZGo, photographed for Ewich Innen Architektur (www.ewich.com). Sustainability paired with cost efficiency –the architects' focus in this project, a detached house for a family of 6, was to build ecologically, durably and cost-effectively using high-quality building materials. The structural work, stairs, ceiling and floors in spruce wood were economically built using CNC technology, a metal façade covers the roof and walls. The interiors were plastered by the owners themselves with clay from the excavation pit. A well-designed house that, although limited to essentials, lacks no comfort.
