The task involved designing a spa as part of the overall development plan for Hacienda Xcanatún. This spa needed to align with the amenities offered by the hotel and the real estate project by Villes. The location chosen was at the heart of Hacienda Xcanatún, adjacent to the main pond. The primary design objective was to create a building that harmonized with the hacienda's physical and natural surroundings. The proposed solution was a linear pavilion with a horizontal foundation, fostering a human scale and providing privacy for the spa program in relation to other areas of the hacienda.
