Sounder Inn is located in a millennia-old village with a profound cultural context, nestled in a valley near Siming Lake in Yuyao. The design aims to create a peaceful retreat that offers a serene escape from the busy urban life and provide a poetic living experience that communes with nature. It innovatively utilizes local eco-friendly materials and old items, seamlessly incorporating local cultural context. The stones, bamboo elements, and woven materials add a natural touch, while the innovative use of rice paper and antique objects highlights the unique charm of the design.
