QO is a mixed-use development of lofts, offices and retail. The building connects two streets and responds succinctly to its urban context. Its narrow, elongated form and façade solution can be traced as a response to each building and void adjacent to the site. Elongated planes and volumes repeated at different scales create terraces and different urban views. Sidewalls experiment with different shades of apparent concrete, while interiors reveal structural elements. The building challenges Mexico City's urban layout but integrates sensitively.
