Casa Ohana, set on Oaxaca’s pacific coast, sits like a welcoming shade, immersed inside the low jungle, between Nim trees. The residence adopts the earthy tones of the site and embraces the local vegetation. The public area layout, similar to bleachers, ensures uninterrupted views of the sea and mountains. A continuous open platform elevates to harness shade and the coastal breeze, which increases the freshness and long views. In contrast, privacy and comfort in bedrooms is achieved by hermetic volumes, only interrupted by two openings: towards the view and the back private garden.
